Agreeement with the company

Hi all,

I am workin in X company where I have signed for 1 year service agreement, is it possible that i can leave the company before agreement period ? As per Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act was passed by the Parliament in 1976, how this company is signing agreement for each employee. Isn't it against LAW?

The said law has no application to your service agreement.  When that was your need, when you needed a job you didn't blindly sing the agreement isn't it?  Law is not only for you - it is there to protect the employer also who invest lots of money and  pay salaries to staff.  Without guarantees and with running away staff a business cannot run successfully.  1 year is the minimum period you agreed to stay with your employer - if you are now not willing to stay, check what the agreement says as condition for termination of service contract ie., notice period - compensation etc - If those conditions are ok for you leave the company according to the mutually agreed and bound contract.
