I got divorce in family court. I recently became NRI. Ex wife in India, earning 10000 admitted, still living in my house, only son living with me. Family court judgement gave 10 laks and buy a flat around 20-25 laks which was offered by me, and mentioned in judgment.
ex wife appealed to highcourt, asking for 50 laks and life long right to stay in my house. Is there any likely hood of further increase, or house given to her? I have submitted detailed evidence of expenditure. In Indian Rs the salary looks very high 3.5 Laks per month, but in this country, I can hardly sustain. Moreover, I have only 10 yrs service life left. I left permanent job in India because of her, and lost pension right.
Any idea what could be the amount of alimony?
