1. From 10 Minutes to Ten years, depending on type of offence and crime under which Act.  Recently former Defence /Finance Minister Mr. Chidambaram was not granted bail for several weeks.

2. You can ask or write to the Session Court registrar for answer to your query.

Hello,

Anticipatory bail is generally decided within 3 months. You may get interim relief on the same day as per merits of your case. However there is no law for time to decide the anticipatory bail.
