Both companies are same...... but if company appointed newly to any employee then employer should issue appointed letter in their new letter head.

If name is already changed their name then using old letter heads for appointed letter is not valid, because company started his business with new name, in this scenario How can they use  old letter heads? Putting today's date on old letter head?

You approach your company to issue appointment and offer letter on new letter head? if they not agree then you have to complaint in Labour Office.

If the company has become dyfunct then appointment letter in the name of defunct company can't be issued. The Shops & Commercial Establishment Act stipulates issuance of appointments letter in a particular form prescribed under the Act.This can't be violated. The company upon charge of name issues written communication to all concerned including employees and shall have to issue salary slips, PF slip etc on new name. First you should determine the violation and then proceeds against the violation.
