I am looking to buy a Flat. On veriication of the documents given to me by the person from whom I am negotiating, I found that he has only a small portion of share (say around 400 Sq ft) in the said property. However, he has entered into a Construction Agreement with a builder for constructing a Flat measuring 900 Sq ft. This is the flat for which he is negotiating with me to sell.
Can I buy the Flat? What are the consequnces I will have to face? How can I protect myself from getting dragged into any dispute / controversy in future for buying this Flat of 900 Sq Ft.
I need an urgent reply as my negotiation is at a final stage
