Basic amenities

If a landlord withholds/ stops amenities to his tenant, what is the punishment as per law, in Telangana state, in case the leased property is not covered by Rent Control Act as amended in 2005?

i will be highly obliged is there is an immediate response to my post.

To revoke rent control act in any state the lease document ought to be registered, failure to adhere to that is of no use. The land lord if at all wants to stop amenities provided to his tenant it has to be through proper court order and time and again various court had said stoppage of basic amenities provided to the tenant is not acceptable and the land lord should resume it without any delay. In your case in the absence to any proper agreement in place you can make use of civil procedure code ORDER 39  RULE 1 AND 2.

Well advised by learned Advocate Mr.Raghavan.  For unregistered lease agreement, the relief can be sought by permanent injunction suit alone.
