Buying agriculute land

I have purchased an agriculture land in Maharashtra. However when i went to talathi to enter my name on 7/12 extract, he said i am no longer a farmer since the land that we owned is now converted to NA.

Can i get a farmer certificate from Rajasthan and approach the Talathi ? can he or any body else take objection  regarding me getting the farmers certificate from rajasthan  for transfer of land to my name? Is there any other alternative ?

Hi,

I have purchased a 1 acre agriculture land in Maharashtra- pune district at my village. We alreay have 5 acres of land in the same village on my dad's name.

Last year in Oct month the documentation has been done only 7/12 name addition remained since Lalathi cancelled the Ferfaar of the same because he received one society's letter that there is a loan on that land (boja) of Rs. 65000/- from one of the mumbai co-op society.

Now the previous owner has cleared that loan and in this month I got the clear 7/12 without any loan entry. I would like to know what is the procedure to add my name in the 7/12 and remove the previous owner's name from the same.

Regards,

Harish
