What happens after police submit C Summary report in a case to the Court. What happens exactly after that in the case and how much time does it take for the case to get over.

Thank you. But this post does not answer my question.
I would like to know the time taken from the police filing C summary report to closing of the case. Does the accused need to attend the hearing of C Summary report. How does the accused know the result of the C summary report. What is the success rate in filing of a C summary report and closing the case. Thanks. Would like to know the specific answers from learned lawyers and knowledgeable people in this forum.

To my knowledge you don't need to attend any hearing. The accused can file RTI application in the concerned police station to know about it. This is not like a success or fail thing. C-summary is something in which police investigated and didn't find anything. There is a time limit in which C summary has to be filed. I am telling from my experience in which one of the case was filed for C-summary report in police station and then the same report was submitted in court.
