Can gift from mother to son be revoked?

Hello,

I bought a property in chennai on my mother's name before my marriage and after my marriage my mom gifted the property to me and we registered it as a gift. I have a sister and she eloped home even before our family were financially stable and now after realising that her husband is a rogue she is staying at my dad's house with my mom and dad.

as usual my parents are feeling emotinal for my sister and she is making use of it and asking for properties.

and my parents are asking me to settle her, my question is will my mom be able to revoke the property gift that she gave to me (even though its my money on which the property was bought.).

Thanks for the answers

Vivek

no. she can't revoke the gift deed as it was not a conditional gift deed. Further, you must have got your name inserted in the 7/12 extract or property card, as applicable.
