Can husband adopt a teenager girl child without wife consent

Hello,

 

I need to know can a husband adopt a teenager girl child without wife's consent when the husband and wife are living separately but not divorced legally.

for adoption consent of both husband and wife would be needed. I think your husband has not disclosed this fact to the authority.

But in one of the other forum and one advocate i had talked yesterday said that he can adapt without wife's consent. Is that possible?

you canot adopt teen age person
