Hi All,
My wife filled Domestic Violence (DV) case in that she stated that i deserted her for a period of 5 months and was not responding her on phone.
Now in her Cross examination (Under oath) she accepted that i came to home for 7 days during 5 months of desertion period as she alleged.
Do this account for perjury?
Can i file a case of perjury stating that she has misleaded the court ?

Thank you SkJ Sir for your valuable advice, but i heard that perjury can be filled anytime and can run parallel with DV cases.
Correct me if i am wrong.
So shall i take in this way that i can file a perjury case, how far it stand in court of law and what kind of punisment is given to the culprit, how long the case of purjury runs?
