Respected Experts,
If my lawyer cannot continue my case, can I submit replies/counters myself?
My case is running in a family court and I need to submit my reply/conter for counter/HMA-24. My lawyer called me and told that he is been pressurized by the girl's father to take side with him. My lawyer does not want to do that to me and also cannot sustain the pressure of this Girl's father who is a big Govt officer. So, my lawyer is suggesting to transfer the case to some other lawyer.
Meanwhile I have to submit my reply for the counter and counter for the HMA 24 petition. I have prepared the petition myself by referring to many earlier petitions. But, my lawyer will not sign the petition for submission nor he will appear for me. have only one week to find another lawyer.
- Under these circumstances, can myself file the reply and counter petitions in court?
- If so, is any lawyer's sign required? I remember seeing lawyers sign in the counter filed by her lawyer.
- If I can submit without lawyer's sign, can I submit my petition in a white paper or should that be submitted in a green paper that normally my lawyer uses?
Please advise. This is very urgent. I have only one week for submission.
