Can mil claim compensation from dil?

Hi,

Can Mother in Law (MIL) can file DV on DIL?

Possibility I know is yes, If that so..

Can MIL claim Compensation from DIL or Father of DIL making First Respondent as Own SON?

Compensation can be taken form Son.

Father of DIL can not come under dv.

yes, they can file u/s 12 of DV act but they can't file u/s 125 CrPC against father. it can only file agaist husband.

Thanks for the Response, I know it is Possible to file DV by MIL to file on DIL., If Compensation made on Daughter in Law it will ultimately Come to Husband i.e. her own Son, so..

But my Question is Can Mother in Law, Seek

1 ) Compensation from Father of Daughter-in law?

2) Can restrain Father of Daughter in Law from entering the House of her?

MIL may get monetary compensation from DIL in DV case.

MIL cannot seek compensation from father of DIL.

she can very well refuse anybody including father of DIL from entering her house.

zameer ji,

in DV MIL can file DV case against DIL, PARENTS OF DIL, if she able to prove her DV case against in regards to S.22 of P.W.D.V.ACT , surelyshe is entitle to get this benifit u/s. 22 of the said act.
