Can probate of will granted if estate already sold by deceas

Pls suggest ,  Can a probate of will be granted by the court  the subject matter of which i.e property ,   has already been sold to third party by the deceased during his life time by way of execution of proper sale documents.  Pls also cite any decided cases by Courts of this issue.

Sir,

Once the property is legally sold by the testator during his lifetime, he is no more the owner and has no right to Will it, hence the question of probate for the property becomes infructuous.
