Why do you have to execute a sale deed, when she can execute a settlement deed in favour of her husband(at negligible costs)?

Look at the difference between the cost of  the sale deed and thegift deed. Then decide

No objection sale deed between wife and husband.  But sale chageable at highest stamp duty no geft tax but capital gains, geft (settlement) lower rate of stamp duty chargeable but no capital gins, geft tax to IT department payable. Taking all the points and necessity you may enter any transaction.  At Sub Registrar Office or at IT department wife and husband will be treated as two parties or assesses.  good luch friend
