Person A was selected under recent recruitment process of SBI clerk under Ex service man quota. After successful completion of documents verification, he was provided offer letter and was asked to join on 25 January 21. As he is serving presently, he applied for extension in joining date. In reply SBI local head office intimated for cancellation of his candidature on the grounds of his date of specific period of engagement which was fixed in notification at 31 Jan 21, and during documents verification it was written to be on 30 Apr 21.
However, at the same time many of personal selected under same category and same lenght of service has been given extension in joining date at other local head offices including at his local head office. SBI is clearly taking biased decision in this case. What are the options left for him.
