I have query, and want to take experts suggestion
My friends father is working in WB Electricity board (from 1982). One of the distant relative of them has file RTI against him asking that the caste certificate for getting job is fake.
But his father has original proof of Caste certificate from DM (dist magistrate, 1981issued) , but not from bdo (local area). Now the matter has reached up to caste verification by local authorities, they don,t have any documents related to his caste in their record.
How strong is the case against him? What action/step his father should do?
Now it seems the caste which his father is claiming comes under general category (after 1988)
His father has supportive documents (caste certificate) of some relatives .
