Caste Certificate retained by PSU Bank

I am an employee of psu bank and my original caste certificate was retained by the bank at the time of joining. It has been 6 years now and inspite of sending letters, the document is not being returned. How to get back my certificate as I require for some other purpose???

pl read the terms and conditions of your appointment. If there is clause about retaining of original docs with them, then you cannot ask. you can only ask for xerox copy.
