Castration violates human rights. It is a wrong punishment

Castration is NOT a logical punishment atall.1) Because castration will stop s*x.The punishment should be such that, that will stop rape not s*x. Sex is very good for health and a biological need. Consent s*x is good for health. But if a person is castrated then he will not able to have s*x any more. It is not logical.
Punishment should be such that, that will stop rape not s*x.
But castration will stop s*x. That is not logical.

2)A person can not be castrated against his will.
If rape is a violence then castrating a person against his will also a violence.

3) Castrating a person against his will is a violation of human rights and was a punishment of middle age.

4) Castrated person may become more violent and may become a misogamist and misogynist. A castrated person may start hating girls. Castrated person may start harming girls because of extreme anger.

5) Intercourse is not the only way of violence. Those who exhibits violence against girls may use other ways for violence.

6)The corrective method must be used before giving any punishment. The method should be such that , that the rapist can understand his faults and can correct himself.

7)Method of Castration can be misused in Police station. Innocent persons may be castrated. Already the dowry law has been misused in India.

8)The person who will be castrated may become mentally and psycologically ill and may become a misanthropist. He may harm other people because of anger towards mankind.

9) A person doesn't have any right to castrate other person. There can not be any eye for eye punishment.

Chemical and surgical both are brutal form of punishment. Both are wrong punishment.

Yes it is a brutal punishment.

any mutilation is violation of human rights. So it is a violation of human rights.

It really can be misused in Police station.

This is India. Any thing can be happened here. Actual rapists may not be castrated and innocents may be castrated.

Yes. Castration violates human rights which  are the highest punishment.  Misusing of laws are very high and at least the educated people may oppose it.

AYAN (WEB DEVOLOPER)     05 November 2015

Suggestion of castration is very vindictive suggestion.

Castration can not be allowed.

Suppose the law is misused and a innocent person is castrated. Just think the situation

1) chemical castration causes psychological and mental problems.
2)Chemical castration causes cardio vascular attacks.
3)Chemical castration causes s*xual problems even if the innocent person takes the anti castration drugs. Suppose the innocent person takes the anti castration drug still there will remain s*xual problem.
4)Chemical and surgical castration both are a matter of shame for the innocent person.
5)Chemical and surgical castration both are violation of human right for the innocent person.
6)Innocent person will be just a silent spectator as he will watch his wife is doing adultery/extra marital affairs with other person. But he can not tell anything to her wife because he is impotent.

SAY "NO" TO CASTRATION.

Rama chary Rachakonda (Secunderabad/Telangana state Highcourt practice watsapp no.9989324294 )     06 November 2015

Heinous crimes like child abuses/rapes can be deterred greatly by its enactment.
Laws are successfully implemented in Russia ,Middle -East countries,Indonesia etc.

This is India. There is a high chance of this law to be misused.

Innocent men may be castrated.

AYAN (WEB DEVOLOPER)     06 November 2015

If there is only jail punishment then court may give compensation to the innocent person. But if there is castration punishment then the court NEVER can give required compensation to the innocent person.

No compensation will be sufficient for the innocent castrated man.

BECAUSE

1) chemical castration causes psychological and mental problems.
2)Chemical castration causes Heart attacks .

THEREFORE, Castration is a wrong punishment.

It can be misused in Police station.

THIS IS INDIA. ANYTHING CAN BE POSSIBLE HERE.

RAPISTS MAY NOT BE CASTRATED AT ALL AND INNOCENTS MAY BE CASTRATED.

Constitution of India does not support castration.

Castration is a violation of human rights.

Anil Agrawal (Retired)     08 November 2015

Rape is not heinous crime. Rapists should be set free because castration is inhuman, violates our Constitution, we cannot be guided by foreign countries blah, blah. Rule of law in our country.  How many of us have suffered at the hands of protectors of law. Have we read it:

THE ghost of an outspoken judge is haunting the Indian establishment. A pronouncement by Justice Anand Narain Mulla of the Allahabad High Court nearly half a century ago is often quoted even today. He said: “There is not a single lawless group in the whole of the country whose record of crime comes anywhere near the record of that single organised unit which is known as the Indian Police Force..”

I dispute with some of the replies, though supportive of some of them. Can the above members state whether crime on women have declined or increased by leaps and bounds after the NIRBHAYA INCIDENT and the proclamatiion of the Act?

On the other hand, I appreciate the efforts of the author on castration. But castration can never be implemented in india,as it is nothing but violation of human rights.

INNOCENT MEN MAY BE CASTRATED.

SOMETIMES NEIGHBOURS ALSO CAN TAKE REVENGE AND can use a WOMAN or a CHILD as a weapon for lodging false complain.

Innocent men may be castrated.

Very bad days are coming for innocent men IF PUNISHMENT OF CASTRATION COMES IN LAW.

AYAN (WEB DEVOLOPER)     13 November 2015

There may be many other probabilities also.

1) Out of jealousy neighbours can use a WOMAN or a CHILD as a weapon of lodging false complain and neighbours can defame an innocent person.

Innocent person will be always afraid of castration.

Castration anxiety will lead to psychological problem.

2)There are many wicked and bad persons in India who want to engage in extra marital affairs with other's wife specially if other's wife is beautiful and attractive.

These type of bad persons can use a WOMAN or a CHILD as a weapon of lodging false complain against an innocent person.

And somehow if they become succeed in castrating an innocent person then engaging in extra marital affairs with the innocent person's wife will be easy for them.

And innocent person's wife also may not hesitate to engage in extra marital affairs with other person because s*x is a biological need and if her husband is impotent then she   may not control her emotion and may physically engage with other person.
