Senior citizen age in mumbai local train

Respected sir,

Please let me know what should be the age of a person to get seat in senior citizen compartment in which 7 seats are reserved for senior citizens ?

Previously it was written 65 years but now written as for senior citizens only and the age as 65 is covered with white paint.

I think it is 60 years for gents and 58 years for ladies.

Please let me know about this with the copy of gazette if possible because there are conflicts arise in local train.

So please provide correct information.

Thanking you,

Contact Mumbai local train authorities to know it.

Not a legal query.  You can ask your tutor or consult the railway authorities concerned.

In Mumbai local trains, senior citizen status, which entitles passengers to reserved coaches, is determined by being 60 years of age or older.

Passengers aged 60 years and above are considered senior citizens and can avail the senior citizen reserved coaches

These coaches are open to all genders and require a valid age proof for boarding.

Is it really a legal query for consideration and obligation of experts on this platform ?
