change of caste from SC to OBC quitting reservation

Hi sir,
Am from abhishek, I belong to SC category and I want to change my caste to OBC category just fa the sake of chng of caste.. Am ready to quit my reservation facilities also.. So plzz suggest me a way for it...!!
If a obc category childless old age ppl adopts me as their son, can I be able to chng my caste to OBC as the rule states father's caste is the son's caste...????

26 year old person cannot be legally adopted by any person.

Caste of a person is by birth. Cannot be changed as per his wish.

Indian laws do not recognize castes except for the purpose of reservations. If a person wants to claim reservation to the caste to which he belongs, he can apply for and get a caste certificate. Otherwise castes are irrelevant under the law. You want to change your caste to OBC. OBC's also have reservations. Hence you cannot change your caste to OBC.
