Change of fathers name as well as childs name

Sir,

My brother died in an accicedent leaving his wife and Daughter within one year of their marriage which is on 2006, after which i remarried her on 2010, the child does not know about the previous incident and now i want to chnge her name as well as the fathers name in the birth certificate.

Please do help how to go about the procedure and whom to contact and what would be the requirements to do.

The child is now five years old and she is in her K.G.

1. Locally hire an advocate via reference or search database of LCI and hire one and consult further the facts as in Chamber discussions.

2. Natural Father’s name in Birth certificate cannot be changed.

3. Adopt her via simple Adoption procedure in jurisdiction Court and certified copies of the documents of the Adoption Court are enough to declare you as her Father for all her school and passport read with any public documents purposes in future from time to time.

Is it possible to change the initial in the birth certificate if we adopt and also please tell what is the procedure for adoption & whom to contact, we are residing in chennai.
