Thanks a lot to read & try to help my problem..

I have great issue but I failed to solve and I coulnd'nt find any proper way & guidence. I feel this site & experts will guide me... my problem is here it goes.

my entrie family (father, mother and myself) converted to ISLAM. We have all documents like (Ration card, adhaar card) on islamic names . but in my study certificates (SSC/INTERMEDIATE/DEGREE (OU)) in all certificate my name & my father name written as RAMESH S/O RAJESH (because we are converted after my graduation) so I need to change my name & my father name according to islamic names on certificates is it possible ?

More additional : I have changed my name through AP GAZETTE but lack of knowledge I haven't changed my father name through AP GAZETTE.

I'm from ANDHRA PRADESH HYDERABAD. Please help me in this regard.

you have to file suit for declaration for the necessary correctiona nd change of name.

Thanks for suggestion: Please bare with me I do have some queries.

1) is it enough OR am I able to get passport if I changed my name Prasad known as Abdul Rahman in AP GAZATTE ?

OR Should I get Change of Religion certificate also ? If Yes, What is procedure for that ?

2) Is AP GAZETTE enough OR anyway is there to get religion change also ?

Please Please clarfiy this queiries ... it makes me so confusion

you can also change your religion certificate and name in same declaratory suit , so get it done, notification in AP gazette is not enough the courts orders is necessary.

Thank you sir, but could you please tell me right & proper way to get change of religion and where I need to go and all..

one more point : I have read some queries relating my issue , some of Advocate in this forum told that "there is no law in india for change of Religion. It's a human right to change his religion but Its enough to get certificate from concern religion gurus which represent you have change your religion form x to Y." Please comment on this.
