Change of office e-mail password.

A false case has been raised against me changing office e-mail password under IT act just by showing mobile model number that I possess. The fact being that the OTP was received by some other person of my office. Can I raise a counter against y officer in my defence?

The fact is not very clear from your post and it is really difficult to understand the allegations of the management without actually going through the letter. It is better you give a proper reply in writing dealing with all factual aspects and denying all allegations properly. If the nature of charges are grave, it is better to consult a lawyer to get your reply drafted.

Vague information can not lead to form an opinion and oblige.
