Sir, that is a practically impossible task to get such a data

It was said IMPOSSIBLE for men on earth to go to SPACE.  Now space shuttles are going successfully and coming back with successful programme.

Comparatively is it very easy to have data of our just neighbour advocates.  If they do not submit their track record to BCI their lincence should be rejected.  So simple.

first you can start such a transparent record for realtors and then you can even think of such a proposal here. 

Your idea is misconceived

1. Advocate selection is not done blindly, people get oral recommendations and for big cases, existing advocates themselves show senior persons

2. like any financial offer - past performance is no guarantee for present case

3. any person who is newly coming then will not get any case to handle, is that what u want?

4  how about judges, many earlier judgement would have been judges who were colleagues, and would have been periods when this advocate was wanting to prove himself. 

i am against any such data to be made available, it is against Art21, violation of privacy. Advocate practice is his personal information.

How it is a personal liberty?

Advocate takes money from clients under some promise to serve with special service and if the advocates hide their real qualification so is making false promise and taking money keeping the client under false impression regarding their efficiency is not fraud?

Prof. sir, please teach us art.21 as how it gives liberty to advocates to do this fraud.  waiting

what is advocate hiding real qualification?

what is special service?

you are not clear on what is fraud? what has fraud got to do with efficiency? 

you as HR - hire people, what index you have for efficiency? if you work inefficiently are you committing fraud?

very nice, it can be done easily. 2 suggestions from me -

1. In vakalatnama the column for amount of fees and mode of payment should be included and all the payments of fees should be made by cheque.

2. Yearly statement of property own by the advocates during the current year, should be mandatory to submit to BCI for validity for the next year, like public servants (paid servants).

1. All your salary and other income details to be posted on a website and published so we all can view and future employers can see, if u were really employed how much you were drawing.

2. your personal appraisal to be published so that everyone knows if you are efficient or committing fraud(as per your definition inefficiency is fraud) and index of how efficient you are can be published. 

3. your wealth details to be declared and income tax return can be published in a website so the entire world knows who you are and what you are. 

if you can't do it, you must stop making statement which does not make sense. 

Lawyer is not any lower to you, as a citizen he has equal right to privacy

Keeping different hopes as per own choice is everyone's birth right.  People may keep hope of Art.21 for protection of personal liberty in this regard but it is "hopelessness" for me. Art.21 also says that ONE SHOULD NOT CLUB OTHERS FORCIBLY WITH HIS/HER OWN CHOICE so pl go ahead on your path.  Best wishes.
