Civil case

Hi Team,

Plaintiff has filed case against us and we are defendants of total 60 village peoples (total agriculture land 400 acres). Here plaintiff has filed civil case, since the government acquired defendants lands by notice. Plaintiff has filed case saying that the land belong to his ancestors. Plaintiff has no legal documents and the case filed by plaintiff against defendants is to delay compensation money and jealous as we will be getting money from government.

Please help us here we are innocent people, what best can be done to avoid unnecessary delay as we have all documents that needs to be produced to government.

Regards,

Roop Singh

Whether summons have been issued to defendants ?

If so, the defendants will have to consult and engage prudent lawyer(s) to contest their case(s).

A property is said to be ancestral when:

  1. It is at least four years old.
  2. It is not divided by the users in a joint family. ...
  3. It is not inherited from mother, grandmother, uncle or brother.
  4. It is not inherited by Will or a Gift Deed.

Hello Sir,

There is no documents with plaintiff to prove, it is just to avoid other people from getting government compensation.
