It will help to get increase in retiral benefits besides enhancement in pension.Retiring as Chief Justice is an honour and we greet him for getting his turn before he retires . Let us appreciate the bureaucracy for having given the satisfaction to demit office with cheers.

it does not happen in the case of Generals. But bureaucrats manage to get extensions and their political masters think without them the government will collapse. There are bigger howlers than this. Thanks to our Netas.
