Hi, Little clarification, one of my cousin (female) married at 1998 and got divorce 2008. For wedlock she have son her husband not take care of her and son. After 2010 husband came back both agree to remarriage but 7 years he not ready remarriage. Same time having another female child. Last may 2017 due to illness she died. Son 16 years and daughter 5 years. Son living with his mother's mother home. Not situation. Who is legal guardian for children? Cousin mother or father? Already son living cousin mother home only. Her living husband try to claim her property and settlement. Surely he will not take care of children. Without knowledge he got death certificate to used old marriage certificate. What needs to cousin mother? Please advice.
