Co-operative society to private limited company

It is surprising no one has responded to this post for 3 months.

In order to convert a co-operative society into a limited company, I see no reason why it should not be possible. But I see no Section specifically for the conversion of Co-operative Society into a Limited Company. Section 17(d) of the Act deals with convertion of a Society into another class. I would think that this Section would apply for conversion into Limited company also. The requirements for conversion are given in the same Section.
