Live-in relationship, pre-marital s*x not an offence. comment on it.
Gundlapallis (Advocate) 24 March 2010
Sex is never an offence - Its a natural biological act. Its we drew lines of prohibition to bring a social order - in the case of live-in relationship morality drew line but not law. Therefore, live-in relationship may be considered immoral in our country but not illegal ie., offence.
Suchitra. S (Advocate) 24 March 2010
I completely agree with gundlapallis. It is only illegal as of now in India. Not an offence.

"whatever is not permitted is prohibited"
In a country where a section of people can 4 wives at a time. If anybody question it,he/she is outcasted.
girls/kids marriages taking place at many places in India for centuries, eventhough it is not legal,it is permtted.
I donot understand as to why some people arrogant over the recent sc judgement, as if every moral standards of the society is gone.
Gundlapallis (Advocate) 29 March 2010
Mr. Mahendra ; Your statement needs correction - In law "What ever not prohibited is permitted" but not as you said.
