HI. i was employed by a Company X wherein i was offered 1500 shares at a certain price Y. As the company has not gone public, i had to relinquish the shares when i left. i signed a buyback form and left the company. The company sent me a cheque that was lost by my courier and i informed the company to send me another cheque. However, they are not responding to my emails and have not sent me my cheque so far. Please help what i should do to get my money back.

please send them the legal notice recording that the cheque has been lost in courier , furnishing details the details of the cheque which has been lost, calling upon them to stop payment of their cheque , calling them to issue another cheque within 15 days or else you will be compelled to take legal action against the company

Take complete details of the same from the courier company in writing for mismanagement file a Fir nearest police station and proceed as stated above by Respected Member Shamataneja
