Do not file any case. Only situation where you go to court is for mutual consent divorce. Every other type of case is long battle and bitter relationship. No gain, only pain in such cases. Woman has a right to stay in her matrimonial home. If she goes and stays there, it is legally very difficult for in laws to kick her out. However it will be unpleasant experience. I appreciate your attempts to mutually resolve the situation. Relationship between husband wife is tender. Nobody has power to improve it except the couple. The more people get involved, the worse matter becomes. As long as girl wants to be in relationship it is good to try approaching for talks and meeting between girl and husband alone to discuss among themselves. If all this is not helping and girl is losing her patience, go for quick divorce.

File DV case and gain entry to parents in laws house/husbands house.

Does not seem to be a healthy discussion. 

 

Filing complaint and willing to go back to the matrimonial home - undigestible..

Sometimes such words worth posting without disrespecting others. :)

Here the intention and suggestion for action are contradicting to each other, hence, opined to be academic.

There was nothing to repeat here. However, would like to add that from the posts it can be concluded that the actual want is totally different from what remedies sought in this forum. The discussion is already closed no more inputs can be given. I advise hire a learned counsel. Arguments in this forum will not lead to any positive result in her practical life. Its all about what she actually wish to achieve and what path takes. Filing complaints and dragging the husband into litigations can not lead to a peaceful matrimonial society.

Here,it is felt it is necessary to clarify the matter

 

1. Opinion was sought at Expert Column about wife visiting Husband house in the morning and coming back in the evening detailing reasons for the same. No Complaint to Police was thought of. Experts opined to lodge Complaint with Police.

 

2. With deference to experts opinion, a query was raised as to at which out of three forums it will be better to lodge Complaint.
