Complaint against clients

Dear Friends and all advocate colleagues, Please let me know whether an advocate can file a criminal case against his own client for comming cheating, defamation and criminal breach of trust. If it can not be filed, let me know whether any legal restrictions are imposed.

Yes , why not? If ur client has promised you to pay ur fee and later on if he denies the same then u can certainly file criminal complaint against him for criminal breach of trust etc. It is because ur business (though it is called profession ) depends on the fees of ur client. I dont know whether my other colleagues will agree with me Theeir comments are welcome.

Yes. You can file criminal complaint of cheating as he induced you to plead for him on the promise of payijg your fee and later evaded it. But before doing so be sure that you have clinching proof regarding fee agreed on and the default committed by him.
