First of all i am not aware that in which category it comes so i chose category others
I have applied for passport and submitted my notorized rent agreement (on500 rs stamp) as address proof. However when in document check officer has raised query and kept my application on hold stating noted and regn by notary required. Accordingly i visited my notary advocate to do the same he denied such practice for rent agreement. And stating rent agreement is not document to be submitted in which I had discussion but he completely refused to listen and stating as there is no process to noted and regn number on rent agreement. This is suffering me for document submission purpose. I consulted to other notary he said that it is process to keep doing it when said this to my notary advocate said go and do another rent agreement who does it. I may have option of same and I may do it but if this is illegal and wrong practice i don't want him to do that further to anyone
