Componding of case and police verification

sir,

i am a professional working abroad now and an aspiring civil service candidate .

my qualification was b.tech and while studying college we had some issues with local people and one of them filed a false complaint that i hit him with a rock on his head . the case was registered under sec,324 ipc . however just after finishing college we were in good terms and the case was settled out of court and the court acquitted us (i think lawyers call it compounding). Now will it be a hinderence for my police verification in case i get selected.

i ask this question on context recent news item that said a person was denied job on the H.C judgement that he was acquitted on the basis of doubt.

You mention in all your declaration, wherever required that NO PROSECUTION, but if this is acquittal and you have not filled any bond for good behavior on conviction for certain period of time desired BT the court.

Mr.Deepak,

I do not foresee any problem, each case will be decided on its merits. further advice on this will hold good after going through judgement
