Conflicts to hindu law / customs

As per the IPC adultry law, If married felmale's husband permits' his wife for the adultry, then It is not a crime....It looks funny and here I feel it voilates hindu law / customs (Oruvan Oruthi).. Is there any such customs existed in the past for getting child etc. in olden days?.. If not, It is sad to hindu laws.
Here wife is treated as a "thing" as she is doing adultry only with husband's consent/permission. Even husband can make use of his wife for adultery right? Does it overrides any freedom of the wife in article of the constinutions.?
What if a married female hides adultry to safeguard the adultry male? Still her husband can file a adultry case.?
Please advise..

There is no adultery against women. Read IPC 497. It is only for husbands.
