Remedy is of civil nature but the procedure followed is CrPC. There are conflicting judgments about the applicability of 482 by different HCs. But why do u want to file 482, u can also appeal against any order u/s 29 of DV Act.

1) Wife made mother in law as co-respondant in DV act. under which section she may seek remedy?

2) Is there any way to counter attack her of making mockery of law by putting ir-relavent petitions which the respondents have to oppose by paying money to lawyers?

3) Is physical presence necessary for respondants in DV case?

I may repeat my query

1) Wife made mother in law as co-respondant in DV act.As far as I know, MIL being female cant be respondent.  Uder which section she may seek remedy?

2) Is there any way to counter attack her of making mockery of law by putting ir-relavent petitions which the respondents have to oppose by paying money to lawyers?

3) Is physical presence necessary for respondants in DV case?

Thanx
