Computer generated letter by bank

what is the difference between computer generated letter not carrying signatures generally used by banks and

normal signed letter? the difference I mean legal value-base?

In case of computer generated letter, the letter is assumed that already singed by the authorised signatory even if his/her signature absent in the paper. Computer generated letters are used for mass mailing purpose like interest intimation, new scheme introduction, regular installment due letter etc.

where as individual letter needs to be signed manually.
