What is 7/12 extract equivalent in andhra pradesh

Hi,

I am planning to buy some agrcultular land near around Pune, my father is a farmer in Andhra Pradesh. It seems 7/12 is a required document to buy agrcultular land in mahareastra. My father has enquired the VAO and in Mandal offfice about 7/12, But nobody knows about such document.

Can anyone help me on ... what is 7/12 extract equivalent in Andhra Pradesh ??
