Status of injunction

Dear Client,

            Once interim  injunction is granted the  court  continues it til the opposite party files counter prayinfg the court for vacating the injunction. Injunction orders are highly  discretionary. The court grants  ad interim injunction if it finds prima facie case, balance of convenience and if not  ads interim injunction is granted to plaintiff   it woulsd result in irreparable injury to the palintiff more than  the  defendant.

Unless vacated by the court, the injunction order continue to operate. If it is mentioned in the injunction order that it is continuing till next date, then it is necessary that court should pass an order for continuance of the order on the next date.
