fake recovery case by police

police will get thief and they recover ornaments . but the fact is the thief never came to shop and not even we did the business but police will come and forcefully take the gold ornaments so how to defend this please share Ur ideas

you have to prove in court from where gold ornaments came in your possession. Show some bill or any papers related to the ornaments

Are you accused/ thief or shop keeper, complainant or investigating officer?

What is your concern / locus standi ?

What is the basis of confiscating ornaments by police ?

Whether you have engaged lawyer to defend your case ? If so, what is his/ her advise ?

but even the lawyer also suggest the same do settlement with police . if the police ask 150 gm gold then give 50 gm and come out . we are shop keeper they come and trouble every time
