If the property is ancestral and you are one of co- sharer and have rights and interest over it then you should file suit for partition of property with prayer of injunction to restrain your cousin not to sell or transfer the property till the decision of suit.

Hello,
Your cousin brother can file partition suit if you take any legal action as he is co sharer of property. You can give him good offer if you wish to buy.

The facts posted are too sketchy to highlight the real issue, if any.

Dear Nihal,
Your cousin has no legal authority to sell the property without your permission. You can block the sale to a third party by filing a civil complaint for a permanent injunction prohibiting alienating to anyone until the civil court rules.
In any case one needs to seek court approval to sell ancestral property without the consent of the successors. Even if the property is sold without the owner's agreement, it can be regained.
