Is there any way to file a case against one of my friends because of whom, i was cheated by fraud real estate company. My friend is the person, who referred me to the fraud real estate company.
Initally, We both planned to purchase plot of 150 sqyrds each. after reaching real estate office, both my friend and his wife discussed and said that they don't have money, so forced me to take extra 15 sqyrds at 8000 (paid 50% amount = 60000) as real estate company is not interested in selling the plots less than 150 sqyrds. He runs chit, however without license. when i said, even i dont have money to buy extra sq yrds he forced me to join the chits and the 1st month chit amount of 2 lakhs he gave it me.
whenever i say that i want to take my money back of that plot, he used to stop me with different reasons but after few months my friend cancelled the plot and took all his money and he didn't said about the cancellation for about 3 months. later i realised that real estate company is fraud. i am due of 45k of chit amount to my friend but i refused to pay him back, as i lost around 6lakhs because of him and apart from that he forced me buy extra 15syrds for which i paid 60k. they started threating me if i don't pay that 45k chit balance that my friend comes to my office and my home, his wife comments on unmarried status. they keep on calling continuously during my working hours and harassing me. Please advise, what i have to do to come out of this. I have WhatsApp proofs of this.
