I own a flat and the association has decided to raise funds by collecting addtional corpus from each of the flat owners. The corpus was collected under multiple installments with cutoff dates. I have defaulted these payments. I have agreed payment after some point of time due to lack of funds.
Question is can the association put penalty on the defaulted payments towards this corpus fund. Please let me know how to go about this situation.
