Hi Sir/Madam,
I, Navin Kumar customer of an internationally acclaimed bank since 2008, receiving rude and harassing calls by bank's credit card/recovery agents. I am getting constantly threatening calls to me and my family. They are continuously harassing me to pay the outstanding amount of some fraudulent credit card which actually does not even belongs to me and I have never even aware of existence of above mentioned credit card. I never received any such card. They are saying that they have my passport and pan card photo copy as proof but the mailing address (where the card is delivered) is not mine. They are giving some address where i never stayed. All this time i am staying at the my current address for more than 5 years. I can prove that i always stayed at my current address and never stayed at that address which they are falsely calming. Moreover i never got any card statement or query call regarding this particular fraudulent credit card. I never knew that someone had used my credentials to get a card in my name and had used it by all illegal means.
As per bank's customer care executives and their data records there is only one credit card issued on my name, which i applied and using in for last 2 years. I have never defaulted on my credit card and have paid all my dues on time. I have been always a genuine customer of the bank.
I am completely harassed by this unacceptable behavior by people associated with the bank. Please advise me how to proceed in this case and escape these folks who are trying make me escape goat for their own faults in card issuing process and bank employees/contractors who we trust as customer with our credentials.
