IF A DOCTOR REMAINED IN JAIL FOR TWO MONTHS TIME ( ALLEGED   FOR DOWRY DEMANDS--ACTIONS DROPPED BY GIRL LATTER) , CAN HE JOIN ANY MEDICAL COLLEGE (PRIVATE) AS FACULTY....YOUR OPINION PLEASE ..QUOTE LAW/RULE IF ANY.....THANKS.!!

It depends upon the nature of imprisonment i.e. whether as detnetive or as a consequence of conviction.

AS I KNOW IT WAS DETENTIVE ,DUE COMPLAINT OF THE GIRL ,LATTER BOTH THE FAMILIES COMPROMISED THE MATTER AND FURTHER PROCEEDINGS WERE DROPPED,

There appears to be no hurdle, unless the institution has adopted Govt rules.

 

Even if adopted Govt rules it appears that the matter has been closed.

If there is no conviction, on acquittal/ discharge/ quashing he can join with full benefits.
