Criminal case

Sir

i would like to check  for case of forgery the court had ordered the accused FIR to be filed and later chargesheet.

but my lawyer says it will take time of 2/3 months for the charge sheet to be filed . i need to know what is the time

limit for charge sheet to be filed infact the police also are not responding to my asking them if the chargesheet

has been filed.. i told my lawyer to make application in court, so the police can come on record and say that they are

filing chargesheet. but refuses. its almost 4 months now.

thank you

The court will give bail to the accused if the  police people not file the chargesheet within the prescribed limit of 90 days
