Sir. My public ip has been hacked and used to login to internet and the guy has cheated some girl and now the police is holding me responsible for the same. They have given 15 days to come back with answers. Pls suggest the way and steps which can be taken to sort this out.

Have you asked the police at the time of incident how many devices were connectd with your IP and the device detials.
I guess if the police traces out that, then you can save yourself from this mess and get your public IP password protected.
