Delhi rent control act

I am tenant of a shop at ground floor main road. My landlord wants to evict me on the ground of opening an office for his sons though he has vacant shop on the ground floor but not on the main road and two vacant shop at first floor. What should I do. Is there any judgment that the requirement of any office can very well be fulfilled by opening not necessarily at main road or that office can be opened even at first floor. Please suggest.

Sir,

Let him file the suit for eviction and justify the bonafide need, call to discuss.

Let the landlord file  a suit under DRCA  and prove his bonafide requirement. If he fails to prove your rights as a tenant are protected. There are some Highcourt Judgements which  held that on landlord failing to prove his bonafide requirement eviction  proceedings against the tenant were quashed. If  you appreciate this answer please click the thank you button on this  forum.
