I own a plot of land measuring 0.680 acre. and have the ROR in my name. About two years back in 2013, Land settlement was done for that locality and fresh RORs were issued. I obtained mine and as expected found the No. of the plot changed. But the most shocking part was that the area of the plot was shown as 0.550 acre. Let me clarify that I have not sold any portion of the plot and there is no change in its physical shape, size or dimensions. On approaching the Land Officer I got the reply that "you should have objected before issue of the ROR. Now it is too late and we can't help you". Under the circumstances what to do, please advise.
